Produced by espAfrika, the team behind the Cape Town International Jazz Festival (CTIJF), Jazz Rising serves as a premier free festival experience.

Featuring a stellar lineup that includes the cinematic sounds of Kujenga, the neo-jazz elegance of Francesca Biancoli, the local fusion of Chadleigh Gowar, and high-energy performances from Daddy’s House, Clint L, and Fundi, the event promises to bridge the gap between traditional jazz foundations and the vibrant "New School" of South African sound.

Adding a unique visual dimension to the evening, renowned artist Michael Beckurts will capture the energy of the performances through live illustrations, offering guests a front-row seat to the intersection of fine art and live music.
