ABOUT
Andy's Club - one year on
We’ve come a long way from the tentative gathering of a few like-minded musicians and supporters in January 2025, through holding our breath some months later as we went live with Quicket sales for the first time, to the enormous reward of two sold-out events at Reload Table View in August and October. Thanks and well done to all who have supported our growing community, whether as musicians, audience, sound management, event coordination, marketing, or venue.
As the year draws to a close and our minds drift off in other directions, here for when the holiday season has passed into memory we're delighted to present our next event - Andy's Club, Take 6 - on Saturday 31 January 2026 - same time, same place. This event will again bring some “new” faces to the stage - and hopefully to the audience! Full details below.
Please note: Your ticket is for the music only. Dinner will be from an a la carte menu. There will be a full bar service. Strictly no BYO.
Wishing everyone an enjoyable festive season and looking forward to seeing friends both old and new in the coming year!

The performers
To get our 2026 season off to a strong start we are pleased to offer another varied programme of fresh originals and familiar covers.
Bernadette Richards
Bernadette is from Cape Town and started exploring songwriting after decades of writing poetry. She has performed original songs at the Barleycorn Music Club. She enjoys developing creative ideas with friends and treasures the opportunity to turn everyday observations and experiences into songs.
The Rustle Crowes
A versatile trio able to blend vocal harmonies with acoustic guitars and light percussion to present an eclectic mix of original songs and their own cover versions of "forgotten folk and country treasures" and blues.
Lauren Goldman
I'm a singer-songwriter who started late in life in my 40's. I wrote some original songs reflecting my life's journey and also found myself writing in what I call my soul language - not actual lyrics but coming from a feeling place. I also enjoy singing arias with my guitar.
Daniel Gardner Phillips
Daniel is an American blues and folk musician who is passionate about sharing his love for music with others. He plays and teaches guitar and banjo, and writes and records original music. With a keen interest in the relationship between music and the sociopolitical climate it inevitably reflects, Daniel strives to foster discussion, connection, and community through his musicianship.
Charlie and Rowan
We share a lifelong love and passion for music. After being in various bands together in school, we began writing songs of our own, mostly about our views on life as 20 year olds with so much still to experience. We hope our music makes you smile and look forward to sharing it with you for the first time!

Further information
Andy’s Club is a vibrant community project launched in January 2025 by a group of passionate enthusiasts in the Blouberg/Table View area of Cape Town’s West Coast. Our aim is to create a dynamic platform for local musicians to share their craft with a supportive audience.
As a non-profit initiative we’re committed to evolving and improving with each step, learning from others and exploring what resonates with performers, audience, and venue. We celebrate original music and welcome impressive cover versions of beloved songs. We appreciate both seasoned artists who are already confident in their craft and less experienced performers who are seeking a safe place to develop their skills and material. We take the quality of our music seriously, but we are also human and we make mistakes, learn from them, and move on.
We strive to create an immersive music experience, inviting performers, supporters, and others who simply enjoy listening, to come together and revel in the beauty of live music. Our aim is to leave them feeling that they have truly heard the compositions without being overwhelmed by volume or excessive complexity.
