Multi award winning artist, Godfrey Johnson will be performing live at KAAPSTAD TONEELHUIS on the 15th of January.

The Johnson Jukebox is a celebration of artists who have inspired Johnson over the years. The show has a twist. The audience will receive a menu of song titles, poetry titles and characters. They will be able to choose what the want to see and hear.

Jacques Brel, Noël Coward, Madonna, Leonard Cohen, Prince, Godfrey Johnson, Cyndi Lauper, Billy Joel, Kurt Weill, Dorothy Parker, Caroline Blackburn, Cole Porter, Leanard Cohen, Mozart, Prince, Sondheim and anyone else who might pop into your head.

No backing tracks!!!! No scores!!!Just a piano a madman!!!!

Johnson was most recently seen in his one person show, VASLAV for which he was nominated for four Fleur du Cap Awards.

In October, he directed Leonardo se Poort and KRUGER for the Foxwood Festival. Both Productions have received rave reviews.
