Summer Solstice Sound Healing Ceremony

World-renowned medicine musician Kailash Kokopelli is returning to Kamala Karoo Sanctuary in Barrydale, this time with mystic poet-healer Grace of Mount Shasta, to honour us with a powerful afternoon to realign, nourish and uplift the heart and soul, start a process of self-healing and promote inner peace. The perfect way to anchor the summer solstice energies through deep listening, expanded awareness and soulful connections.

Kailash is celebrated globally for his transformative healing concerts and ceremonial music. A pioneer of modern sound healing for more than three decades, his performances blend the didgeridoo, Native American prayer flutes, overtone chanting, medicine drum, crystal bowls and rare string instruments into a powerful vibrational journey.

Accompanying him is Grace of Mt. Shasta, a mystic poet and spiritual teacher often described as a "living Rumi". For nearly four decades she has offered healing touch, divine insight and profound spiritual guidance globally. Her presence and poetry transmit deep peace, subtle awareness and the timeless wisdom of the Essene Christic tradition.

The afternoon will start with Egyptian blue lotus tea and a 7 direction invocation to open sacred space, followed by a labyrinth walk guided by Terry de Vries, and mystic poetry by Grace interwoven with the sound medicine offerings of sound alchemist Kailash Kokopelli.

*IMPORTANT* Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and any extras you need to make yourself comfortable for the sound journey. The event will take place inside the labyrinth of Kamala Karoo Sanctuary. Also bring mosquito repellent.

Both Grace and Kailash will be available for private healing sessions by appointment from Monday 22 December.
