SPEAKER
Campbell Parry is an analyst with Investec Investment Management , and he is based in Cape Town, South Africa. He is responsible for analysis and coverage of resource companiesin the global mining, oil & gas, chemicals, steel and paper and packaging sectors.
Prior to joining Investec Wealth & Investec, he spent seven years at Abax Investments, an institutional asset manager in Cape Town, where he covered global resources and helped run the company’s global equity fund.
Before his time on the buy side, he spent eighteen years on the sell side, most of which was spent covering global resources companies, with a five year spell covering the North American biotechnology sector while based in Toronto, Canada. He started his sell side career with HSBC Securities in Johannesburg in 1995, covering oil & gas and chemical companies.
He has a Ph.D in inorganic chemistry from the University of Kwazulu-Natal and Purdue University, Indiana.Petrus, in 2019.
