Leg 3 of our Big 5 Challenge is a whopping 25km adventure over rough terrain, steep climbs, river crossings, and mind-blowing scenery from start to finish.

Be ready. This one pushes limits — and rewards you with views you’ll never forget.

This is a tough 25km full-day hike – not for the faint-hearted!

• Up to 6 waterfalls
• Steep climbs & challenging terrain

Entrance Fee: R70pp (payable at Krantzkloof Nature Reserve gate)

Important Notes:

• Not suitable for beginners or casual hikers.
• This will be a fast-paced hike with long distances to cover.
• If you sign up but can’t complete, you may need to turn back alone (not ideal!).
• No credits or refunds for no-shows.
• The hike will go ahead rain or shine, and only be cancelled under extreme conditions.

Pack plenty of water and snacks – you’ll need it for this full-day challenge.
