Andre Grove Announces His Bold New 2025–26 Stage Hypnosis Experience

South Africa’s leading stage hypnotist, Andre Grove, unveils a completely reimagined show for the 2025–26 season — a high-energy, 90-minute production that breaks away from every old expectation of what hypnosis on stage used to be.

This is not the familiar “hypnotist gives instructions and volunteers follow them” formula. The new show reflects the modern audience: sharper, faster, more interactive, and very much in charge. Andre’s latest production puts the power directly into the hands of the volunteers, turning them into the drivers of the action rather than passengers. It’s hypnosis redesigned for the millennial and Gen-Z era.

The show features volunteers from each local community, and the routines have undergone a major evolution. While a few classics remain, the majority of the performance now draws on entirely new concepts developed to match today’s entertainment landscape.

Audiences can expect routines based on contemporary culture — from “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”-style challenges, to chaotic “Timu shopping sprees,” to the return of clever, fast-paced, role-driven sequences that keep the entire room engaged. Early highlights include the fan-favourite Invisible Machine routine, which has already become one of the show’s signature moments.

Across the 90 minutes, Andre guides the audience through a fast-moving journey that never slows down. Every person on stage becomes the star of their own story.

The environment remains completely safe, supportive, and respectful — and true to Andre’s trademark style, the show remains family-friendly throughout. Anyone aged 16 and older is welcome to join the volunteers on stage, while guests of all ages are invited to sit back, watch, and enjoy the ride.
