After a hugely successful first tour in South Africa, Alexander Broussard – the voice and pianist of The Billy Joel Experience – is returning this summer for another run of shows, this time with his South African band, Alexander Broussard & The Lords of Long Street.

Known across Europe as one of the leading interpreters of Billy Joel’s music, Alexander fronts The Billy Joel Experience, winners of the prestigious national TV competition “The Tribute: Battle of the Bands” (Netherlands, 2022). The band is now touring its fifth major theatre production across the Netherlands, with representation in Belgium, Germany, and South Africa, and a German tour planned for 2027.

Over the years, Alexander has shared the stage with Richie Cannata and Liberty DeVitto – both original members of Billy Joel’s band – who praised him as the only European artist they would perform Joel’s music with.

Having performed worldwide — from European theatres to the grandest cruise ship stages — Alexander now brings his passion for Billy Joel’s timeless songs back to South Africa, joined by an outstanding local band.
