ABOUT
Aden Hinds and Kurt Stone are putting together a tribute show in which Aden plays Kurt Cobain and Kurt plays Eddie Vedder, but there's a twist...
Imagine an alternate universe in which Kurt Cobain is still alive and he and Eddie are friendly, but there is a subtle, unacknowledged rivalry between the two. Oh, and they are both South African in this universe. That's the universe you will find yourself in when you walk through the doors of the Goat Shed, Kenton-on-Sea on the evening of the Monday 22nd December from 18:30
They will also play a few covers of their favourite local artists, but you'll have to be there to find out who those might be.
Tickets: R100 on quicket

Aden Hinds is a SAMA nominated singer/songwriter known for his work as one half of The Hinds Brothers as well as his dynamic solo performances.
Reminiscent of the great music which evolved out of the social revolution that so enlivened the 60's and the 70's, Aden Hinds' Folk Rock creations are a skilful blend of meaningful lyrics and melodic harmony. As "The Hinds Brothers", he and his brother Wren released the SAMA nominated album Ocean of Milk in 2013.
This album embodied the musical journey of the brothers, and Aden has continued to produce music which satisfies all the innate needs of the true music lover.
With a rich baritone voice of great originality and songs crafted around the lush textures of the acoustic guitar, Aden’s music is rest for the weary soul. His songwriting is insightful, lyrical and passionate, while his original take on cover versions is refreshing and anything but run-of-the-mill.
Hinds has performed extensively throughout South Africa, including appearances at SA’s premier music festivals Splashy Fen and Oppikoppi. He has shared the stage with the likes of Syd Kitchen, Madala Kunene, Steve Fataar, Willy Mason, Guy Buttery and Johnny Clegg.
