THE LIMPOPO HEALING JOURNEY CONVENTION

This is not a conference. There is no stage, no hierarchy, and nothing to prove. You will sit in a circle the way our grandmothers did, eat food that tastes like home, and be held by women who understand without needing it explained.

What your weekend looks like

Friday — The Village

The night everything softens. Praise poetry in Sepedi, Tshivenda and Xitsonga. Kgoro circles and therapy sessions. A welcome dinner where nobody performs. You arrive as a delegate and leave the room as somebody's sister.

Saturday — The Healing Garden Festival

World Mental Health Day, celebrated properly. Full VIP festival access, live performances, wellness activations and the RISE Stage. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. This is the day the weight lifts.

Sunday — The Ancient Long Table

A curated lunch, real laughter, a podcast recorded in the room with you, and unhurried time with the women you were meant to meet. One long table under a Limpopo sky. Nobody rushes to leave.

Author and indigenous knowledge practitioner Dr Mmatshilo Motsei. Elder Father King of Ntlu ya Ditlou. Gospel artist Lebo Sekgobela. Healer and DJ Gogo Skhotheni. THE ANCIENT LONG TABLE — R750

Sunday 11 October · Sun Meropa Boma, Polokwane · Only 50 seats

The Long Table stands on its own. It is included in your weekend pass, but you can also come for the Sunday alone, even if you missed the rest of the weekend.

Fifty seats. When they are gone, the table is full.

FESTIVAL DAY ONLY — Saturday 10 October

• General Access R690 — festival grounds, healing circles, marketplace, live music. Food vendors on site, meals not included.
• VIP Access R1 500 — reserved seating, VIP hospitality area with catering.

Before you book

Can I come alone?

Most women do. You will not stay alone for long.

Do I need to be healed already?

No. You need to be willing to sit down. Nobody there is sorted, and that is the point.

Can I come for just the Sunday?

Yes. The Ancient Long Table is a ticket of its own at R750, and there are only 50 seats. You do not need to have attended the rest of the weekend.

Is this religious?

No. We honour indigenous wisdom and Ubuntu, and welcome women of every faith and none.

Is accommodation really included?

Yes, on the Full Weekend Pass. The Festival day and Long Table tickets do not include a room.

Can my company book seats for a team?

Yes. Corporate blocks are available from five seats and are invoiced directly. Contact us before booking.

Will there be support if it gets heavy?

Netcare Akeso's wellness station is on site all weekend, with a confidential self-check and a route to further support. This is a gathering, not a clinic, and if you need more than a weekend we will help you find it.
