ABOUT
You are warmly invited to join us for our annual Therapists’ Tea at Japari School on Friday, 13 March 2026. A morning of connection, inspiration, and professional growth.
This year’s talk, “Neuroplasticity in Practice: Bridging Brain Science and Therapy – Harnessing Neuroplasticity to Unlock New Pathways for Change,” explores how understanding the brain’s capacity to adapt can transform the way we support our clients. We are very excited to welcome two knowledgeable and dynamic speakers: Dr Marc Hauptfleisch (Paediatric Neurologist at Wits Donald Gordon Medical Centre) and Digby Ormond-Brown (Principal Neuropsychologist at the Netcare Rehabilitation Hospital).
By tapping into the principles of neuroplasticity, therapists can strengthen learning, enhance emotional regulation, and foster lasting behavioural change. Whether you’re working in education, rehabilitation, or mental health, this session will offer practical insights you can bring directly into your therapeutic practice.
Date: Friday, 13 March 2026
Venue: Japari School Hall. 1 Dundulk Avenue, Parkview Johannesburg.
Time: 8:00 - 11:15am
This event is open to all HPCSA-registered therapists and registered social workers. CPD points will be applied for.
