The Rouge Revue presents 2 workshops by The South African Burlesque Festival International Headliner, Jessabelle Thunder.

Jessabelle Thunder has been captivating audiences since 2009 with her signature mix of power, playfulness, and magnetic stage presence.

Crowned Miss Exotic World, Queen of Burlesque at the Burlesque Hall of Fame, she's an international headliner who has toured 11 countries, including Japan and Australia with Tito Bonito, and shared the stage with icons like Lizzo and Dita Von Teese.

Consistently named one of the Top 10 Most Influential Performers by 21st Century Burlesque Magazine, Jessabelle is celebrated for her striking musicality, cheeky sass, and a passion that radiates from the stage straight into the hearts of her audience.

Workshop 1: Boa-Dacious Moves: Playing with Feathers and Rhythm

Wrap yourself in feathers and flair with this playful burlesque class! Learn how to use your boa as a sultry extension of your body while exploring the art of musicality. From twirls to teasing, you'll discover how to move with rhythm and grace, making every moment on stage absolutely captivating. This class will have you shimmying, swirling, and feeling fabulous!

All levels of performers welcome.

If you don't have a boa, please bring a long scarf.

Workshop 2: Corset Choreo: Making Your Corset a Moment

Corset Choreo is a class all about turning removal into a true moment. In this class, we'll explore how to take off your corset with the music, using timing, breath, and smooth transitions to add drama, control, and some teasing.

The choreo: Simple.

The vibes: Playful.

Come ready to move, experiment, and leave with tips and tricks you can use on stage or even offstage.

Beginner-friendly.

Wear comfy shoes or no shoes.

Please bring your own corset.
