NEW YEAR’S EVE 31 DECEMBER 2025 IN SEDGEFIELD

Come and ‘rock into the New Year under the Stars’ with multi-talented Dukes of Note, a Carnival-Rock band from Cape Town bringing a imagination & music to life!

Come and be a part of the fun journey through time – with unique musical creations and familiar favourites as they showcase a blend of playful theatrics that make for a truly unforgettable live experience! Fun, interactive elements are woven into every performance. Carnival Dress is optional.

Formed in 2014, the band blends Balkan rhythms, gypsy punk, vintage blues, and rock 'n' roll with a circus aesthetic, creating a "unique carnival rock" sound. Original songs will feature Escapism, Fantasy, Love and Loss and there will be re-imagined music from artists like Aron Chupa, Billie Eilish, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Nancy Sinatra, Nick Cave and Nina Simone, as well as films like Dumbo and The Jungle Book.

Band members are Nick Knightshade (Vocals/Guitar), Andy Droid (Vocals/Bass) and Matt Cox (Drums).

The evening is a fundraiser for Masithandane Care and Respite Centre.

Dukes of Note will be performing ‘Live in Sedgefield’ in the Garden, Scarab Village, N2 on 31 December, 2025.

Bring your dancing shoes. Prize for best dressed.

The outdoor garden will open at 19:00

There will be a cash bar available.

No alcohol may be brought onto the property.
