Flash Float 2025

Flash Float is a relaxed event that takes place on the canals of St Francis Bay in the Eastern Cape. Bring your swan, duck, flamingo, unicorn, or whatever floats your boat, and join us while we gently float with the tide to celebrate a fantastic holiday season in St Francis Bay. This event is open to the whole family. GO WITH THE FLOAT!

100% of the proceeds from Flash Float go to benefit local charities.

WRISTBANDS

Wristbands are your ticket to float! Please collect pre-event during one of the slots listed below. Alternatively, there will be a collection point at the start, but expect long queues at the event.

Collection Point: The Rotary Club gazebo, outside the Spar Center

• December 27th, 28th and 29th from 9 am to 12 pm

Please bring your Quicket payment confirmation to collect your wristbands.

Float Rules & Indemnity Notice

By purchasing a ticket for this event, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Safety Rules

• All children under the age of 12 must wear a life jacket and must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
• Only participants who are competent swimmers are permitted to float.
• No alcohol will be sold or permitted at the event.
• No motorized craft are allowed to enter the event.

1. Participation at Own Risk

• All participants take part in this event entirely at their own risk.
• The organizers, including the Rotary Club of St Francis Bay, accept no responsibility for injury, death, loss, or damage to personal belongings, even in cases of negligence. While all reasonable precautions have been taken to ensure safety and security, participants are solely responsible for their well-being.

1. Event Cancellation

• The organizers and/or appointed safety officer reserves the right to cancel the event for safety purposes.
• No refunds will be issued in the event of cancellation due to bad weather.

By proceeding with your ticket purchase and participating in the event, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Rotary Club of St Francis Bay, its members, volunteers, and affiliates, from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from participation in this event.
