ABOUT
Seeds are small, but they carry the power to grow the foods we rely on every day, from tiny lettuce specks to giant pumpkin seeds. In this workshop, we’ll dive into the fascinating world of seeds: their shapes, colours, how they travel, and what they need to grow into healthy plants.
Designed for kids aged 7–10, participants will explore different types of seeds, learn about their journeys, and discover how they become the fruits, vegetables, and flowers in our gardens.
After exploring, children will get creative! Make seed shakers from upcycled containers or design seed collage art using a mix of seeds and natural glue. It’s a fun, interactive way for kids to connect with the tiny beginnings of our gardens and take home a little piece of nature.
Age Restriction: (Ages 7–10)
