The CREATE Project - Resilient Journalism: Safety, Wellbeing & Legal Rights

The SA National Editors Forum (SANEF), in partnership with Lawyers for Human Rights (LHR) and Amnesty International South Africa (AASA), invites you to a two-day Resilient Journalism Workshop. The programme will equip journalists with practical tools to strengthen personal security, protect mental well-being, manage threats, and understand their rights when engaging with law enforcement under SAPS Standing Order 156.

Venue: Garden Court King’s Beach, Gqeberha

Time: 08h30 – 16h00

This workshop is strictly for journalists (including community, freelance, and student journalists). Organisers may request proof of journalistic status. Right of admission is reserved.
