Rustenburg Supplier Development Conference - 29 - 30 August 2018
The Rustenburg Chamber of Commerce (RCOC), in partnership with the Rustenburg Local Municipality and the Small Business Institute (SBI), will be hosting an event focused on broad sector Local Supplier Development in the big Banquet Hall and Auditorium of the Rustenburg Civic Centre.
Due to the widespread request for assistance from regionally based SME’s, as well as current and potential suppliers, working predominantly with the mining sector, the RCOC and its partner organizations, will be hosting an event aimed at providing local Supply Chain Managers the opportunity to share information, with local SME’s, on how to access opportunities within the respective companies and organizations. This will include compliance requirements, database registration processes, etc.
Due to time constraints, each presenter will have a maximum of 30 minutes available to present their respective organizations Supply Chain Processes. Questions will be handled via SMS and email only, with direct and public response via social media. No public discussion platforms will be hosted. On day 2, a workshop session will also be facilitated on how to be more successful with tender submissions as well as presentations by Supplier and Database Management consultants.
In addition, the event will allow for National Suppliers, Finance and Funding Partners, as well as other local and foreign SME support organizations, to introduce their opportunities and services through exhibition space and network opportunities.
