AMP is an Eastern Cape music education centre connecting young people with their creative and musical identities as well as opportunities for them to take part in the music industry. AMP does this by opening access for school learners to develop their musical skills in preparation for formal qualifications and/or industry opportunities in music.
The concert will be directed by AMP founder and Music Director; Gareth Walwyn. Refered to as "Mister" by the students, "Mr." writes for and conducts the Ochestra. AMP's unique orchestral repertoire is well-known for its distinctively South African flavour.
