Great Domaines invites you to an intimate gathering celebrating both our 25th birthday and the birthday of the late Sir Winston Churchill (born 30th November 1874) by way of lunch with the wines of Pol Roger and three vintages of their prestige cuvée, Sir Winston Churchill. Special bottles that have been kept back in our library collection for the last few decades will be shared for the first time and this celebratory lunch has been subsidised substantially to ensure that we have a full room of premium bubbly connoisseurs. Vintages of the Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill will include 1998, 2004 and 2018.

Hosted at Akido, Johannesburg’s newest luxury Japanese restaurant, led by acclaimed chef Earl Akido, whose culinary mastery was honed over 18 years at Nobu Cape Town, this authentic menu promises to highlight the elegance and complexity of the wines.
