Come and relax in our comfy chairs at Alma, enjoy a spectacular Gourmet Boerie roll, and watch the test match unfold on our HUGE screen :) While Italy vs the Springboks has historically been a fairly one sided affair, there is no denying the improvements that Italy has been quietly undergoing over the last 3 years or so. With a raft of world beating u/20 players joining the ranks of the senior squad, Italy is looking like a more cohesive team, packed with high quality (French Club league stars...!) individuals.

I imagine that Rassie will use the opportunity to test a number of the fringe Bok players and fresh combinations across the board, in keeping with his treating of this Northern Hemisphere tour as a World Cup Litmus Test. Of course we should win, but this Italian team, as they showed in June, are no pushover anymore!
