Rumswinger is fast becoming a crowd favourite!
Rumswinger is a vigorously charismatic electro / nu wave Pop outfit dripping with talented individuals who combine in a carnivalesque expression of deep electro beats layered with french guitar licks, fat bass lines and a bristling horn section. The diversity of their musical backgrounds merge to create a unique style and character that is unforgettably infectious.
This 4 piece outfit boasts the entrancing and energetic Carla on lead vocals, Lee Lips on Trumpet, Simon on Saxophones, Marne 'King Louie' behind the decks punching out the big and bruising back-beats.

Mix n Blend:
From the sound-soaked streets of Cape Town city, the double SAMA (South African Music Award) nominated Mix n Blend DJ/ production duo has been giving electro boogie lovers a reason to throw their hands in the air and dance like no one’s watching since 2001. The evolution to full live band was decided by a need to bring to audiences those sounds that are just best played and experienced live, not sequenced. Enter a horn section consisting of two of the mother city’s most acclaimed brassmen in Ross McDonald and Lee Thomson (who is on loan courtesy of seminal Cape Town ska punk band Hog Hoggidy Hog). Lee also doubles on keys and guitar. Adding an engaging live visual element to each Mix n Blend stage show is the work of renowned VJ Inka Kendzia of Krushed & Sorted fame. Original Mix n Blend members Jon Arnold and Kevin Ribbans manipulate live samplers and effects while dropping their carefully crafted home-made beats. Vocally, the band is fronted alternately by EJ von Lyrik (formerly of Cape Town soul sensations Godessa) and the world renowned reggae emcee and dancehall toaster Crosby Bolani (African Dope Sound System).
