ABOUT
Sacred Somatics by House of Ditsie
A Seasonal Yoga Series - deeply connecting us to our bodies, our ancestral knowledge and the earth.
Overview
Sacred Somatics is a year-long somatic yoga practice inspired by the natural rhythms of
the Southern African seasons. Each session connects participants with the body, breath,
and energy centres ~ Root, Creative, Power, Heart, Expression, and Awareness inviting a
deeply felt connection to themselves, the land and the cycles of life.
Our approach is rooted in African sensibilities: we move with the land and the seasons,
listening to what the body remembers, honouring its natural rhythms and letting
movement and breath unfold without force or expectation.
No full-year commitment is needed. Each session is complete in itself, so participants can
join whenever they like and still experience grounding, vitality and presence.
