FRANCOIS VAN COKE het naam gemaak as die ikoniese voorsanger van die legendariese rock groepe Fokofpolisiekar en die ontbinde Van Coke Kartel voordat sy solo loopbaan in 2015 afgeskop het met die vrystelling van “Toe vind ek jou” met Karen Zoid.

Hy het altesaam vyf vollengte albums opgeneem as solo kunstenaar – Francois van Coke, Hierdie is die lewe, Dagdrome in Suburbia, Kanniedood en Die Ruimte. Die Ruimte is op 20 Maart 2025 vrygestel.

Tot op hede het Francois agt SAMA toekennings ingepalm as deel van Fokofpolisiekar, Van Coke Kartel en as solo kunstenaar.
