HOW DARK MY LOVE

A documentary on controversial artist Joe Coleman and his wife Whitney Ward.

Coleman is known for his very specific style and depictions of dark figures and incidents in pop culture, including serial killers (and movie posters like Henry).

The film explores Coleman and Ward's relationship as he undertakes a massive portrait of his wife, blending a "timeless love story" with his dark and visceral art style that explores themes like death and violence.

HOW DARK MY LOVE premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival and won the Audience Award for Best Documentary.
