ABOUT US
The South African Lipizzaners
The Dancing White Stallions
The South African Lipizzaners are a Non-Profit Organisation dedicated to preserving the classical traditions of the Lipizzaner breed — one of the oldest and most celebrated horse breeds in the world.
Based at Mistico Equestrian Centre in Paarl, our team works tirelessly to uphold the art of classical horsemanship, presenting performances that celebrate the beauty, harmony, and intelligence of these magnificent white stallions.
As the only performing Lipizzaners in Africa, our mission goes beyond entertainment — it’s about education, heritage, and the preservation of a living legacy that has inspired generations.
This fundraiser evening plays a vital role in helping us continue caring for our horses, maintaining our training programme, and ensuring that the story of the Lipizzaner endures in South Africa for years to come.
