Poetry Sessions : Almost Myself

Almost Myself is a spoken word and storytelling experience by Eric that explores identity, growth, and the journey of becoming who we truly are. Through raw poetry, personal reflections, and honest storytelling, Eric unpacks themes of self-discovery, expectation, faith, and emotional healing. In this show, Eric explores the tension between who we are and who we feel pressured to be, reflecting on the moments where we lose parts of ourselves in the pursuit of acceptance and meaning. He shares lived experiences and intimate thoughts that highlight the struggle of feeling “almost yourself”.

Alongside Eric’s performance, the event will feature a variety of artists from different creative spaces, including spoken word poets, musicians, and other storytellers. Each artist brings their own voice and perspective, adding depth, emotion, and diversity to the experience, making the night a collective expression of creativity and truth.
