BotFest 2026 showcases 20+ local producers at Gabriëlskloof with walkabout tastings, gourmet food, intimate satellite sessions exploring terroir and older vintages, and live music. One day, one venue - lots of unforgettable wines and people.
This is Bot River's post-harvest celebration – a chance to experience the entire region's wine scene in one beautiful setting. From afternoon exploration to evening celebration on the lawns, you'll taste exceptional wines from the oldest vines and newest plantings, meet the winemakers themselves, and discover what makes this corner of the Overberg so special.

What to Expect: The day begins with a relaxed walkabout tasting where you'll explore wines from over 20 Bot River producers. Throughout the afternoon, join intimate satellite tasting sessions in special venues for deeper explorations of terroir, older vintages, and innovative winemaking. As evening falls, the celebration continues on the lawns with live music, food available for purchase, and wines by the bottle directly from producers. Winemakers will be on hand throughout the day – this is your chance to meet the people behind the wines and experience authentic Bot River hospitality.
