UMbulumakheqe Art Exhibition

UMbulumakheqe is a visual art and literature project that reimagines izinganekwane through the medium of painting and sculptural work.

The exhibition opens with a series of paintings by Ande Magoso inspired by characters and symbols from a folktale "UMbulumakheqe" by Mbali Malimela. Featured is a young Sculptural artist, Ntobeko Chiliza, taking us through the three-dimensional representation of the project-related forms.

The audience gets to indulge on both the visual, literal and audio experience of the folktale with guest performances by IsiXhosa and IsiZulu artists
