Join acclaimed cellist Carol Thorns for a sunset concert at The Sanctuary at La Roche.— a luminous celebration of music and mountains.

Framed by the majestic Franschhoek peaks, this tranquil setting becomes the stage for a programme of beautiful and inspiring music, including original works from Carol’s album Sanctuary — recorded here and nominated for Best Instrumental Album at the 2023 South African Music Awards.

A sought-after performer both locally and abroad, Carol has graced prestigious stages across South Africa, Europe, and the UAE. Through her company, Red Cello Productions, she has created a portfolio of spectacular original acts including The Bubble, Rosanthorn Trio, CODA Africa, and The Galaxy Dress.

Carol will be joined by her fellow musicians from the popular Afro-fusion band CODA Africa — Sethu G (vocals) and Renate Riedemann (violin) — for a richly varied programme that moves from soulful string duos to reimagined South African favourites.
