This concert forms part of an ongoing series showcasing new compositions by Lex, alongside fresh interpretations of South African jazz standards, in anticipation of his upcoming album set for release in 2026. The music weaves together authentic South African jazz, Xhosa folk textures, and a touch of soulful expression — a sound both rooted and transformative.
