The legendary Andile Yenana returns to The One Room for a heartfelt tribute to one of Gqeberha’s most beloved sons of jazz, Feya Faku.

Feya Faku, the revered trumpeter and composer from New Brighton, was a guiding light in South African jazz. His music carried the warmth of home and the soul of community, inspiring generations with its honesty and depth.

For pianist and composer Andile Yenana, Faku was a long-time colleague and respected contemporary. Their musical journeys often intertwined through shared performances and collaborations that helped shape the sound of modern South African jazz. Both artists embodied the rich heritage and spiritual energy of the Eastern Cape.

This special tribute concert brings that legacy home, it’s going to be a night of remembrance, rhythm and reverence led by one of the country’s finest jazz musicians.
