Join us for Cycle for Impact, a one-of-a-kind cultural exchange and impact experience in the heart of Khayelitsha, one of South Africa’s most vibrant and fastest-growing communities.

This immersive one-day program brings together the Cycling coaches, and young women from Khaltsha Cycles Academy for a journey of empowerment, creativity, and cultural discovery.

You’ll cycle side-by-side with Khayelitsha’s inspiring girls and coaches, explore local art and creativity, and take part in conversations about impact, community, and building new cultural legacies.

Program Schedule

08:00 – 09:00 | Welcome Coffee & Registration

Kickstart your morning with locally brewed coffee and meet your guides and community partners.

09:30 – 11:30 | Guided Cycling Experience

Ride with the girls and coaches of Khaltsha Cycles through safe and scenic township routes, while experiencing the energy of Khayelitsha first-hand.

12:00 – 13:00 | Music Showcase

13:00 – 13:50 | Arts for Impact Dialogue

Engage in dialogue with youth leaders, artists, and community builders. Learn about the Township Gallery Seed Project — a bold initiative to create Khayelitsha’s first gallery space for local art.

14:00 – 14:45 | Art Exhibition

Discover Khayelitsha’s creative spirit through a showcase of visual art, music, and performance.

14:45 – 15:00 | Impact Circle & Closing

Conclude the day by pledging support — whether through donations, bicycles, or gear — towards building sustainable impact for young girls and the future Township Gallery.
