Safe Spaces Open Mic is a stage for raw expression, vulnerability, and connection. Each year we gather as a community to share words, stories, and sounds that challenge, heal, and inspire. This year’s theme is No Filter, we’re stripping away the polished layers and leaning into truth. Whether it’s poetry, music, comedy, or storytelling, this is your chance to speak what’s real, raw, and unedited.

Our mission is simple: to create a space where people can show up as their most authentic selves, unjudged, uncriticised, and fully seen.

Who Should Come

• Artists, poets, storytellers, comedians and performers ready to share their unfiltered truth.
• Friends, family, and community members who want to experience an evening of authenticity, creativity, and connection.
