Prepare to be awed by up to 7 breathtaking waterfalls, the historic Clifton Fire Lookout Tower, and the scenic Clifton Canyon!

Time: 6:45 AM for 7:00 AM

Meeting Place: Giba Gorge MTB Park

Hike Details:

 15km - up to 7 waterfalls (if all accessible), Giba Ruins, The hidden Rock Shelter, Skeleton trail, Cascades, NU Driving Range, Rock Shelter, Clifton Canyon and Giba Gorge NR

Cost: R299pp (includes private guiding, exciting adventures, stunning photos/videos, and light breakfast/coffee at one of the waterfalls)

Note: A R50 entry fee (per person) to Giba Gorge is payable on arrival, not included in the cost.

Grading:

 Regular Hiker: Grade 3

 Casual Hiker: Grade 4

Note: Not suitable for beginners.

What to Bring:

 Water/cold drinks

 Trail snacks

 Backpack

Optional: Raincoat (a little rain won’t hurt and might even keep the bugs away!)

Extras:

Lunch and drinks at Cafe Umfula after the hike (at your own expense).

Important Notes:

• Not suitable for beginners or casual hikers.
• This will be a fast-paced hike with long distances to cover.
• If you sign up but can’t complete, you may need to turn back alone (not ideal!).
• No credits or refunds for no-shows.
• The hike will go ahead rain or shine, and only be cancelled under extreme conditions.

Pack plenty of water and snacks – you’ll need it for this full-day challenge.
