Maternal Mental Health: More than postnatal depression

Wed Nov 5, 19:00 - Wed Nov 5, 20:00

ABOUT

Postnatal depression isn't the only villain in the maternal mental health story.

I'm watching too many women get stuck in the "am I depressed or not?" loop, missing the HUGE spectrum of what maternal mental health actually looks like.

Because while we're all laser-focused on postnatal depression (which is crucial!), we're missing anxiety that shows up as perfectionism. OCD that masquerades as "being a good mom." PTSD from traumatic births that gets dismissed as "adjustment."

It's time we had the FULL conversation.
