Smoke Firing Workshop - Saturday 25 October 2025

Join award-winning ceramicists and CWC committee members,

Sandile B Cele,

Amanda Rybicka

and Rosh Sewpersad,

as they guide participants through their techniques of surface decoration in clay, smoke firing and Raku techniques.

Participants should bring a few of their own bisqueware for the smoke and Raku firing. A few bisque-fired vessels will be available for purchase.

The Spring Workshop at Nirvana Fynbos Reserve during flower season is a much-loved event.

A delicious spring-inspired lunch and snacks will be served.

Bring: Your own Raku glazes (if you have them), drinking water, sunscreen, a sunhat, and walking shoes for a stroll in the veld.
