DORMANTYOUTH will be curating and hosting a panel discussion and cultural activation at a culturally significant music venue in Newtown, Johannesburg providing a platform for artistic dialogue at the intersection of design, music, and cultural practice inclusion in Design Week South Africa 2025.

Important Update: Groove Biennale II @ Design Week 2025 Moves Online

Greetings everyone,

We’d like to share an important update regarding Groove Biennale II @ Design Week 2025 by DORMANTYOUTH.

Due to unforeseen logistical circumstances, the production team has decided to migrate the event fully online. Managing both the on-ground and digital components has proven challenging within the short lead time, and we want to ensure the experience remains smooth, engaging, and of the highest quality for everyone.

The programme will remain exactly as planned, with panel discussions taking place from 17:30 to 19:00 (SAST). The only change is that the event will now be hosted via Zoom.

Please note that we will no longer be meeting at Club A.M, Gwigwi Mrwebi Street.

Instead, we invite you to join us online using the Zoom link at 17:30 (SAST) on Thursday, 9 October.
