Helderberg Village Music Society

The Helderberg Village Music Society invites you to a concert, Under Paris Skies with the Cadillac Trio, on Sunday 21 September 2025. This programme celebrates Paris as the city of love, with music by Fauré, Saint-Saëns, Debussy, Piazzolla, Piaf and more.

The Cadillac Trio brings together three of Cape Town’s finest musicians. Soprano Louise Howlett is known for her versatility across opera, jazz and Broadway, as well as her presenting work on Fine Music Radio. Violinist Elina Koytcheva, who trained in Bulgaria and the Netherlands, performs with the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra and has appeared alongside artists such as Andrea Bocelli and George Benson. Pianist Albert Combrink is celebrated as a performer, teacher and music historian, equally at home in opera, chamber music, tango and musicals.

Audiences can look forward to Fauré’s Après un Rêve, Debussy’s Clair de lune, Massenet’s Meditation from Thaïs, Piazzolla’s fiery tangos, and Edith Piaf’s La Vie en Rose. With a mix of elegance, passion and nostalgia, the Cadillac Trio promises an evening of music to stir the heart.
