ABOUT
On 4 and 5 October 2025 Prince Albert’s most beautiful gardens will once again open their gates, showcasing sustainable spaces that are indigenous, water-wise, and wildlife friendly.
The weekend will be jam-packed with all things natural, organic, green, and inspiring. Besides our unique Great Karoo gardens, a host of talks, walks, and workshops will be sure to enlighten and enthrall.
We are thrilled to have on board expert speakers Geoff Nichols - Indigenous Plants, Karin Sternberg - Wild Bees: Lessons in Adaptation, Petrus Jansen - Growing Wellness: From Soil to Soul, Connal Eardley - Bee Indetification, Courtney Hundermark - Karoo Reptiles, Liana Jansen - Klein Karoo Medicinal Plants, and last but certainly not least, the Shapiro daughters with their endearing Story of a Prince Albert Farm.
The Swartberg Pass Wild Walk and Wolwekraal Biodiversity Walk with Professor Sue Dean are return favourites, and a walk on the Gordon Koppie with local artist and nature enthusiast, Collette Hurt, is a highlight.
A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to Wolwekraal Nature Reserve Conservation as well as the Ek is Oulik campaign, a proudly Prince Albert Community Trust initiative.
Free access for children under 12.
Please note no pets with the exception of service animals.
