Take a Step Against Gender-Based Violence

Every day in South Africa, women and children face the devastating reality of Gender-Based Violence.

They need our support.

That's why 100% of the proceeds from this Take a Step event will be allocated to organisations that provide safety, counselling, and shelter for survivors of abuse.

Smile FM and 1st For Woman invite you to Take a Step against Gender-Based Violence and make a difference.

5km run : 07:30

5km walk : 08:00

Tickets are R100 for adults and R50 for children under 12.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

All proceeds will go to the Saartjie Baartman Centre for Women and Children and the 1st For Women Foundation - organisations that provide critical support to survivors.

We challenge all Cape Town business, schools and clubs to join us on this 5km walk or 5km run and help create positive change. The organization that enters the largest percentage of their staff will stand a chance to win airtime to the value of R100 000 on Smile FM.
