Hello Secret Sunrisers!
If you haven't joined us before, now is your chance. The early morning guided dance session that celebrates a beautiful sunrise is the only way to start your day! Is it a party? Is it a silent disco? Is it a yoga session? No. In fact it's all of these things and more! Secret Sunrise is a gathering of like minded individuals who are not scared of radical self expression, movement, love, connection...and, of course ,joy! Brought to you by No Danger Diaries and Secret Sunrise Cape Town.
Our overiding message this month is Action August. Its time too take action and activate change. This very special Secret Sunrise Artistry Edition, is pleased to be collaborating with Art Of Africa for an epic 30 min art session from 7am before the dancing commences at 7.30am So release your inner Active Artists and get your tickets before its too late - ONLY 10 spots available.
"Unleash and explore your creativity with Art of Africa as you embark on a session with Secret Sunrise. Painting solo or in pairs, capture your experience with brush and paint, welcoming in the day with colour, taking home your artwork in your own shade of expression. Limited easels available so book yours now!"
With the activation of change so closely on our minds this month. We couldnt be happier to be running our Share the Joy ticket for some incredible change makers, Steps for Hope. Steps for Hope work closely with TB/HIV Care who are a national non-profit organisation dedicated to preventing, finding and treating TB and HIV. TB/HIV Care has conducted more than a million HIV tests, supports about 5000 people every month to take TB and HIV treatment, and has a system for providing health care to vulnerable populations that is considered a model of best practice. The money raised from this initiative will be used to support a Drop-in Centre in central Cape Town which provides free, non judgemental health and wellness services to populations most at risk of TB and HIV. Many of the people accessing these services are living on the streets and donations will assist with the provision of toiletries and hygiene packs. Thats real life ACTION HEROES right there.

We are dancing on the Croquet Lawns at the V&A Waterfront - https://goo.gl/maps/dq7i6wpRVKG2 Free Yoga will be available for half an hour from 7am. It will run in conjuction with those involved with Art of Africa. Secret Sunrise will commence at 7.30am sharp. Paid parking (R10 - R20, depending on how long you are there) is available at the Ulundi Parking Garage, which is directly underneath the Croquet Lawns. Please bring water, and there are bathrooms available inside the Waterfront.
