ABOUT
CEXx will be hosting their first fundraiser for AfrikaBurn 2018 on Saturday 4 November 2017. In true CEXx style the event will be a combination of educational workshops in the afternoon and a party for demonstrations and safe exploration in the evening.WORKSHOPS
Each workshop will be between 30 to 45 minutes, and will start every hour on the hour between 14:00 and 16:00. The last workshop will finish at 17:00. You will be asked to indicate which three courses you are most interested in attending so that we can schedule the workshops to accommodate as many people as possible.
Please note these are adult only workshops as the content is sexually explicit.
Workshops will include the following topics:
- Binary and Boxes (or Not!) - sexual and gender diversity and fluidity
- Consent
- First Aid for Kinksters
- Introduction to Rope work
- Leather Community
- Negotiation
- Online Dating Safety
- Polyamory
- Sexual Health and Safer Sex
- Waxplay
'LA PETITE MORT' PLAY PARTY
Starting at 19:00 we will kick off with an educational play party. There will be a number of demonstrations taking place including rope work, burlesque dancing and fire massage. The CEXx dome will be available for play as well as a number of other areas with a wide range of equipment ranging from, massage table, tantric chair, spanking bench and St. Andrew’s cross.
Please note this is an over 18 only party as it will include some sexually explicit play.
Tickets to attend only the party are R150 each.
You can chose to buy a combination ticket which will get you access to both the afternoon workshops and the evening party for just R150 per person, a saving of R100.
INTERLUDE PREP & LIGHT MEAL
For those of you who will be attending both the workshop and the party, there will be room available for you to get ready for the party and tickets are available to join the CEXx team for a light dinner of homemade soup and fresh breads.
THEME
The theme for the party in the evening is 'La petite mort' an expression which means "the brief loss or weakening of consciousness" and in this case refers specifically to "the sensation of orgasm as likened to death". We are asking everyone to please dress up for the evening festivities. Think 'Dia de los Muertos' or Mexican Day of the Dead. Dress up, pull out your masks and bring out your dark side to play.

CEXx stands for Consensual, Educational, Xploration of seX. Now in our third year, we are a group of friends and allies creating a camp at AfrikaBurn, focusing on workshops and talks during the day, and providing a discreet, sex-positive camp with restricted, adult-only access at night.
From the educational perspective CEXx aims to grow understanding around sex positivity ranging from understanding gender and sexual orientation, consent, safe sexual practices, relationship styles and kink.
