ABOUT
Tea Ceremony with Tea Master, Jessica Bonin
Discover the transformative practice of tea, rooted in East Asian traditions. Every detail is intentional, creating calm, focus, and connection while cultivating awareness and presence.
Tea ceremonies are a disciplined, highly refined practice from East Asia, shaped by philosophies such as Zen, Tao, and Confucianism. Every detail is intentional, embodying principles for a harmonised way of being. Tea shifts internal landscapes while providing conditions that cultivate awareness and presence, creating calm, focus, and connection.
Jessica Bonin from the Alchemy of Tea brings 15 years of study with Tea Masters, combined with her background in philosophy, sharing these rare teachings while guiding participants to use the ritual of tea as a daily act of self-care.
Through a ceremony and guided process, you’ll explore sensory awareness, experience methods to find calm and clarity, and design a small ritual you can incorporate into daily life.
After the experience, Sacha Park from SilentSoul will guide you through a sound and meditation journey, integrating the shifted state of being that the tea creates. Nature and music are the elixirs of life, and by combining them, we further enhance the senses and deepen our immersion in the experience.
Participants may experience:
- A sensory journey — engaging sight, smell, and taste to cultivate presence and focus
- Flavour rabbit hole — explore a range of ceremonial teas prepared at sommelier levels
- Moments of reflection — pauses and attention that invite insight and clarity
- Alignment with natural rhythms — synchronising body, mind, and spirit for internal balance
- Attention to subtlety — drawing you inward and deepening mindfulness
- Appreciation of simplicity — finding beauty and calm in ordinary moments
- Daily micro-practices — carrying calm, awareness, and rejuvenation into everyday life
This gentle, embracing event brings the depth and benefit of centuries-old practice into your own rhythm.
Jessica’s ceremonies create space to listen and reconnect: with yourself, others, nature, and what emerges in each sip, an experience both rare and transformative.
