George Werner (Piano):
George Werner is a key figure in the Cape Town jazz scene, recognized for his commitment to uplifting youth in underprivileged communities through music education and initiatives like the Little Giants jazz group. Over his four-decade career, he has collaborated with many South African jazz legends and played a vital role in nurturing emerging musicians. Despite his modest personality, Werner's impactful legacy in jazz education and community service has established him as a respected and influential presence in the industry.
Peter Ndladla (Bass):
Peter Ndlala is a distinguished South African musician renowned for his versatile talents as a bassist, soprano saxophonist, composer, and band leader. Ndlala’s bass guitar is celebrated for its rich, lead guitar-like presence, delivering powerful and emotive performances that captivate audiences.
Carlo Fabe (Drums):
Carlo has appeared in a variety of studio and live settings, performing and/or recording with artists such as The Cape Jazz Ensemble, Thandi Klaasen, Ezra Ngcukana, Sathima Sea Benjamin, Sylvia Mdunyelwa, Errol Dyers, Robbie Jansen, Tete Mbambisa’s Big Sound, George Werner, Peter Ndlala, Hilton Schilder, Steve Newman, Ernerstine Deane, Mervin Afrika, Derrick Schippers, Mark Goliath, Erika Lundi and the Solms-Delta Music Trust Ensemble’s to name just a few.
Muneeb Hermans (Trumpet):
Muneeb Hermans is a talented trumpeter from Cape Town, South Africa, who began his career in the Cape Minstrel fraternity and studied jazz performance at the University of Cape Town. He regularly performs in the vibrant Cape Town jazz scene and has showcased his skills internationally across several countries, including the UK and the US, while also participating in major South African jazz festivals.
