KJC SUNDAYS is a monthly live jazz event showcasing emerging local bands at the iconic jazz venue in Johannesburg Afrikan Freedom Station, this month features the young dynamic drummer Tefo Mahola from the vibrant township of Gugulethu in Cape Town he goes live with; Kopano Jazz Collective, and Dineo Mahola on spoken word.

Tefo is one of the recipients of the Concerts SA Mobility Fund and this gig is part of his national tour for his recent Album Ngoku.

Tefo Mahola, is a 31-year-old South African drummer, composer, pianist, and singer hailing from the vibrant township of Gugulethu in Cape Town. Tefo's extraordinary touch on the drums and cymbals transcends genres, weaving together elements of jazz, hip hop, funk, jazz rock, and neo-soul into a sound that is distinctly his own.
