Get ready for one of Noordhoek’s favourite annual celebrations!

Join us on Thursday, 24 September 2026 for a full day of incredible food, local flavour, live music and community spirit as teams battle it out to be crowned the 2026 Heritage Day Potjie Champion.

From the first potjie being lit at 10am, the delicious aromas will fill the Village as talented teams prepare their best recipes over open fires. From 3pm, our esteemed guest judges, Franck Dangereux and Pete Goffe-Wood, will taste each entry before announcing this year’s winning team.

Wander through the Village, soak up the festive atmosphere, enjoy great food and drinks from our restaurants, and relax with live music from 2:30pm. Whether you’re a passionate foodie, a potjie enthusiast or simply looking for the perfect Heritage Day outing with family and friends, this is an event not to be missed.
