Welcome to our version of Sunday 'church' baby.
Except here, we sweat our prayers and begin our day with a high energy, heart-felt...rave!
Having quickly become known for its incredible locations and unique dazzling energy, rise, and rave. is back with a bang!
From the ginormous success of the last edition, we have been invited back to the one and only *St George's Cathedral.* As the oldest cathedral in Southern Africa, this momentous signpost for community will be our haven for our joyous event.
Guided by Live Electronic Female DJ Act Kerstin de Beer (KDB), step into a haven of groove, without needing the social buffer of substances or alcohol.
There will be sponsored products from a very special kombucha brand, vegan snack brand and more exclusively for our guests!
There will also be coffee, cacao and food on site to fuel your morning and keep your dance moves on fleek.
TIME
Doors open 10 am. Dance floor opens at 11 am sharp! Come settle in, take in the space and get ready to DANCE.
BRING
Bring your instruments (drums, shakers etc) to play on the dance floor, an open heart, and your dancing feet.
Kids are welcome too at this family friendly event!
FOOD
There will be food and drink on sale from our selected vendors in the cathedral courtyard.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Rise and Rave Event Liability Waiver and Release Agreement
As a participant of the Rise and Rave event, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms as a condition of my participation in the above-mentioned event:
1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in event activities may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, death, or property damage. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.
2. Release of Liability: I release and hold harmless Rise and Rave, its affiliates, agents, and volunteers, from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from my participation in this event, including those caused by negligence.
3. Medical Treatment: In the event of an injury or medical emergency during the event, I authorize the event organizer or their representatives to seek necessary medical assistance on my behalf. I understand that I am responsible for all associated costs.
4. Personal Property: I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own personal belongings. The event organizer is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to my property during the event.
5. Compliance with Rules: I agree to follow all event rules, safety guidelines, and instructions provided by the event organizer.
6. Liability for Damages: I understand and agree that I am responsible for any damage I may cause to the event property, venue, or objects during the event. I agree to reimburse the event organizer or property owner for the full cost of repair or replacement resulting from such damage.
Rise and Rave Event Safety Policy & Terms of Attendance
By attending Rise and Rave, all participants agree to abide by the following terms. These conditions are established to ensure the safety, respect, and well-being of every attendee.
1. Substance Use
- Rise and Rave is a strictly sober event.
- The possession, use, or distribution of alcohol, drugs, or any mind-altering substances is prohibited.
- Any breach of this condition will result in immediate removal.
2. Harassment & Personal Conduct
- All attendees are required to respect personal boundaries.
- Subtle or overt forms of harassment, including but not limited to:
- Unwanted physical contact
- Inappropriate comments or advances
- Persistent or intimidating attention
- Behavior that causes discomfort to others will not be tolerated.
- Any conduct deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive to the community atmosphere may result in removal.
3. Reserved Right of Removal
- Rise and Rave reserves the unconditional right to remove any person at any time if they are considered to be a threat to themselves, others, or the integrity of the event.
- Removal or exclusion may occur without explanation and without obligation to provide reasoning.
- Rise and Rave is under no obligation to engage in further communication regarding the decision.
4. Communication & Boundaries
- If you are asked to leave or not to return, you are expected to respect this instruction fully.
- Direct contact with organisers via personal numbers is strictly prohibited.
- Breach of this boundary may result in legal action being taken.
- Attendance at Rise and Rave constitutes agreement with these terms.
- Failure to comply with any of the above conditions may result in immediate removal and/or permanent exclusion from future events.
