Jazz at Obz: The Meeting of the Legends!

Together with the Bheki Khoza Quartet, we will be sharing music with the Herbie Tsoaeli Sextet. Our shared musicianship with my longtime friend Bheki Khoza has come a long way. In this musical meeting, we seek to further explore the sounds and voices we have experienced over the years.

We played in many different setups together, trios and duos back in the day, including with the late Lulu Gonstana, another great legend of our times. I thought this was an appropriate time to call on uBhekisisa to join me in a music celebration, to honour our longstanding collaboration.
