You’re invited to an afternoon of insights and delights from dressing up to gaining knowledge with meaning, movement and magic — in support of fundraising for local charities.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
- Professional guest speakers and facilitators, sharing short insights:
- Cecile with Love&Light - Mom, Nia facilitator, somatic educator,and entrepreneur, sharing introductory embodiment practices and mindfulness techniques to sense resilience and invite more of it into your body & life.
- Nicola Jackman Joy, Producer, writer, professional actress, The Joy Movement CEO
- Gillian O'Shea, Kinesiologits and Garden Route Wellness CEO
- Dr Leigh-Anne Brown - MTech AHPCSA Registered Homeopathic Practitioner and Quantum Energy Healer. Sharing strategies for internal resiliance, in alignment with the teachings from the art of NIA
- Thaine Sasman - BEng (Mechatronics), PMP, Asset Management Lead at candi Solar. Sharing personal experience of the benefits of how Nia has unlocked confidence, found freedom, and increased relience in a kind way, in a mans world of heavy technical, strategic and analytical linear thinking

3. M'afrika performance - a character and interactive theatre piece by Nicola Jackman about a girl from another land trying to heal her people of a "feeling disease"
4.Time to reflect, reconnect, and recharge
5. A joyful, themed Nia movement session guided by International accredited Nia facilitator Cecile Sasman — move, dance, embody resilience, and cast your intentions into the future. (no previous experience necessary, chairs available if needed for support)
6.Welcome drinks & Canapés, sponsored by Neolife and candi Solar. Kindly have a good lunch before the time as the snack break will be around 1h30.
7. A photo booth with a "Tree of Life", sponsored by The JOY Movement & artist, Tamryn Blommekind
8. Dress-up fun with a lucky draw for best-dressed, thank you prizes for those who bring the spirit of the day to life, and spot prizes that celebrate your creativity and courage!

Attendees dress in earthy tones (browns, greens, golds) with flowers, leaves, or tree-motifs. Think of grounded beauty with sparkle.

Flowing dresses, gold/silver arm cuffs, headbands, accessories—strong, feminine and fierce.
Symbol: Embodied resilience, ancient strength.

Reds, oranges, golds with feathers or fiery accents.
Symbol: Rebirth, transformation, bouncing back.
