MANA at Hoofstraat Conceptual

On the 30th of August MANA, a Riebeek Kasteel local since 5 years old, musician, filmmaker and sonic curator, returns with gifts.

We’ll begin the evening with a screening of 'Every Seven' — a short film/visualiser shot in the streets and homes of Riebeek Kasteel, reflecting on cycles of change, memory and belonging, while archiving the interconnected lives of a family in the community. Following the film, MANA and her 5-piece band will take the stage with an evocative live set that weaves together contemporary jazz, Latin rhythms, and neo-folk sensibilities.

Now on their 'Orb' Spring Tour, this show marks the third of a series of performances that are making their way around the country in celebrating their latest release 'Orb' available on all streaming platforms.
